Pasticceria Italia in Bloomfield

These are my favorite cannolis. Delicious.

Awesome baked goods and very good cappuccinos. I haven't had a single thing from here that I haven't absolutely loved. Special shout-out to the sfogliatelle, very well done.

Pasticceria Italia is a great Italian bakery. It is in a good location in the center of Bloomfield and the Canoles I got there were amazing. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is driving through the area or has a thing for pastries and sweets to check it out.

Greast pastries and cookies here, some of the best in the area. Only gotten whole cakes here once or twice but no complaints there either. Place has been around for a number of years now and is consistent.

Fantastic desserts and great Italian Ice.

Grinders specially the eggplant parmesan are delicious. Bread is fresh and crispy, 10" is more like 14" and the price is very reasonable. Stuffed breads are good too.

Large size eggplant parmesan, hot pastrami and meatball grinders are absolutely wonderful. Big enough for 2 people to share!The take home to heat stuffed bread of potato and spinach is delicious. Enough to feed 3 people. The individual slices of white chocolate raspberry cake, lemon cake, assorted fruit cake and cappucino cakes are devine.

Decided to order a grinder. The evening cook was informed of the order and decides to go outsode instead to help his friend fix a car. Waites 15 min before he even remembered, then rushed in. Asked for a refund and left.

This place is true Italian goodness! Not only the baked goods, the bread.. the pizza! Magnifico!! Extremely friendly staff too!

Nice little local backery with lots of bread and pastries choices . However the fruit cake I bought was not worth the price, main reason for my trip to this backery is get a fresh cake unlike chains. I was disappointed with the fruit filling in the cake, it tastes weird most likely due frozen fruit used. That's the only reason for a 3 star review.

Such great food I ate here for both lunch and dinner in a single day! Pizza slices were unusual, complex, and delicious for lunch. Chicken parm grinder and fries were scrumptious for dinner. Can’t go wrong here.

Ladies behind the counter know what is desired as requested. Today, I chose 2 slices of pizza for lunch. The price is right (no joke here), and the pie was very good. I was pleased with my lunch, and this was my first pizza pie at Pasticceria.

I stumbled across this place while searching for a quick bite. I was so impressed with the fresh homemade desert selections and the authentic Italian dishes! The pizza is so delicious and the cannoli cake is to die for!

If you like stuffed breads, Italian bread, sweets, pastries, cannolis, etc then this is your go-to-place. yummiesness all around

A little bit of everything here... Not a big fan of traditional italian cookies because they tend to be dry, crumbly, and all together lacking distinct flavor beyond anisette... But these cookies are moist and flavorful, I would say maybe the best item in the shop. I would especially recommend the chocolate covered macaroons (when they have them in the case) and the tricolor cookies (not sure of their official name). Stuffed breads are delicious (I've tried the chicken parmesan and buffalo chicken flavors), and the cakes are pretty decent as well. Though I will agree with other reviewers that the "less popular" flavors of cakes in the case tend to not be as good as the other offerings in regard to flavor and freshness.

This is our go to place for lunch at the office. They get you in and out quick. Be careful though the displays full of sweets are dangerous

I ordered 4 pieces of pizza and a piece of chocolate mousse cake. Both were really delicious. The staff was also really friendly and helpful. I will definitely return to try the other cakes and cookies!

Best mini canolli in CT!! Worth the drive...get at least a dozen...it stays well in the fridge for few days too....

Around 11:30 the pizza come out of the oven with wonderful combinations as well as cheese or pepperoni. The crust is light and yeasty, toppings taste real and homemade which they are. Their pies are great ( the dessert kind)! And all the cookies, biscotti and specialties Emilio makes best. Just as good as 20 years ago when I started coming for treats there.

The Tiramisu cake I ordered for bday was the most boring tiramisu I ever had in my life. Tasteless. Giving two stars only because they decorated well, otherwise it deserves 1 star. Also I tried Red Velvet cake here which is also boring. They should at least have good Tiramisu as they call themselve Italian bakery.

Yum. Pizza with spinach, potatoes and sausage- what a great combo- nothing like it anywhere else. Finished off with a Milano excellent chocolate and coffee. Quick and delicious.

If you thought their pastries are yummy. Stay or take out their lunch choices. I had the homemade soup. Wonderful. And my friend had a hot meatball grinder. The sauce and all homemade. Enjoy

Their pizza is incredible! Just noting the quality of the pizza makes me want to try more of their menu offerings like the soups and bakery items. I have a feeling that this is one of those "gem" eateries that you don't find very often. Very much worth checking out.

Best Cakes anywhere... Marble cake with chocolate mousse filling anf whipped cream frosting is awesome

We ordered a Large Sheet Cake, Chocolate with Raspberry Mousse for a Sweet 16 Birthday party.The said the large would feed up to 120, and it certainly did. We even had leftover. Several people said it was absolutely the best birthday cake they ever had, and I have to agree. It was delicious! Do not hesitate to order a cake here.
